About the spa
Since 1992, the spa Lázně Bechyně s.r.o. has been a non-state medical facility. In September 2001, construction started on a new spa building called Olga (in memory of the mother of the former owners Eva Märkiová and Ing. Josef Kratký) – a three-story building situated in a green meadow ideally close by the spa building Jana, with its canteen and restaurant.
The first guests arrived in May 2003. It is historically interesting that the spa hotel Olga is 100 years younger than the half-timbered spa buildings Šárka and Libuše. In the basement of Olga house there are all the technical facilities, the preparation facilities for the therapeutic procedures, the warehouses and workshops. The ground floor has the entrance hall, reception, admissions office, daily bar and lounge area. Here you will also find the main therapeutic operations, which are divided up into three wings.
Our spa building Olga is conceived as a central therapeutic, accommodation and relaxation building, all wrapped up in one. The building has 164 twin rooms and 3 apartments. On each of the floors you’ll find glazed observation areas designed for rest and relation. There are 4 lifts.
The spa complex also boasts a large swimming pool and whirlpool.
In total, our spa can accommodate up to 472 guests.
